High-performance website for a modern lighting brand, built end-to-end with TypeScript, React, and Storyblok as a headless CMS.

Overview

Banno Lighting is a web application for a lighting solutions brand focused on professional lighting in art spaces. The goal was a sleek digital presence that presents products well and is easy for the content team to maintain.

I led the development end-to-end: a responsive, mobile-first frontend, a clean content architecture in Storyblok, and the backend glue that keeps everything in sync.

What I did

• Built the application end-to-end, from mobile-first UI to backend APIs.
• Integrated Storyblok (headless CMS) so the content team can manage pages independently with visual editing.
• Implemented custom webhooks for real-time syncing between the CMS and the site.
• Optimized performance with lazy loading and asset optimization for fast page loads.
• Worked directly with UI/UX designers and stakeholders to hit both visual and functional goals.
